Getting married and raising a family is a goal shared by millions of women across the world. And while most women will be able to achieve this goal, when you are single, it can feel like this goal will always be out of reach!

The biggest challenge many women face is figuring out where to go to meet men who share similar interests and relationship goals. This challenge often leads to asking for advice about where to find a husband – which brings a lot of good advice, a lot of bad advice, and a lot of useless advice! And while there’s no one answer for where to find a husband, here are some popular places to try:

Golf Courses

Golfing is a male dominated sport, so if you like sports, consider taking up golfing. This way you can get some exercise, learn a new sport, and have lots and lots of opportunities to meet men. Not all of them will be single, and not all of them will be looking for a long term relationship. But you’ll have a better chance of finding a single man who does want a long term relationship by taking up a hobby that will keep you surrounded by men.

Volunteer Work

If you want a compassionate man, and don’t currently volunteer, then it’s time to get busy. There are probably dozens of opportunities to volunteer in your local area, from taking dogs on walks at your local animal shelter, to helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Choose a charity that matches your interests, and you’ll be likely to meet a man who not only shares your interests, but is compassionate and giving too.

Singles Mixers

Lots of communities and clubs put on singles mixers, which is a great place to meet single men. Not all of them will share your interests, but you’ll have a better chance of finding one who does by going to events where everyone attending is also looking for a love connection. Check your local newspaper and online calendars for mixers, and if all else fails, try planning your own.

If you’re looking for advice about where to find a husband, try these things, but also keep an open mind. By opening yourself up to new experiences, and focusing on surrounding yourself with opportunities for love, you’ll have a better chance of meeting that one special person. And a better chance of fulfilling that shared goal of marriage and family that we mentioned earlier.
